My Life With MS
I'm on a mission to revolutionize how we approach health and wellness with multiple sclerosis. Having battled this condition firsthand, I understand the struggles and triumphs that come with it. Through this platform, I aim to share my journey, insights, and strategies to empower others like you to live your best life despite MS. Together, let's rewrite the narrative and inspire hope for a brighter future.
From Pain To Purpose
hello,
I'M JENNIFER
My journey as an MS warrior began in 2019 when optic neuritis kickstarted the challenges of living with multiple sclerosis. Since then, I've navigated through various treatments, from Tysabri to Tecfidera, Ocrevus, and IV/IG infusions, each with its own set of allergic reactions, trials, and triumphs.

But my story doesn't end there. Recently, I embarked on the incredible journey of motherhood, welcoming my son into the world. His arrival has ignited a newfound determination within me – a commitment to do whatever it takes to heal, not just for myself, but for his sake too.

Through this platform, I invite you to join me as we redefine the boundaries of health and wellness in the face of MS. Drawing from my personal experiences and insights gained along the way, I'm here to share strategies, tips, and inspiration to help fellow warriors live their best lives despite the challenges MS presents.

Together, let's cultivate a community of hope, resilience, and empowerment. Because no matter what obstacles we may face, the future is brighter when we face them together.

"As a mom recently diagnosed with MS this book was beautifully done. It brought tears to me eyes. Sometimes I need a reminder that I'm strong too."

My Story
"At 16, my world turned upside down – quite literally. Imagine waking up one day to find your vision fading, as if the world is slipping through your fingers. It happened to me, a teenager grappling with the sudden onset of blindness in my right eye. It was terrifying, disorienting, and the beginning of a journey I never anticipated.

Fast forward to my mid-twenties, and déjà vu struck like a cruel joke. The darkness returned, this time with even greater ferocity. Those ominous black spots I thought I'd left behind in my teens came back with a vengeance. But this time, they brought company – a strange numbness creeping down my left arm, followed by a relentless sensation of pins and needles. It was as if my body was staging a mutiny against me, and I was caught in the crossfire.

Enter the MRI – a daunting journey into the unknown. I remember lying there, the cold metal of the machine surrounding me, the rhythmic thumping echoing in my ears. Little did I know, those images would hold the key to unlocking a diagnosis that would change my life forever.
Step Out In Faith
Multiple Sclerosis. The words made literally no sense to me. The issues with my brain hit me like a ton of bricks, each lesion weighted with uncertainty and fear. Thirteen lesions scattered throughout my brain, with one particularly menacing presence lurking ominously in my spine.

And then came the treatment options, each one accompanied by its own set of risks and uncertainties. Tysabri emerged as the frontrunner, its promise of protection tempered by the ever-present specter of side effects. Sitting in that infusion chair for the first time, surrounded by fellow warriors in various stages of their own battles, I felt the weight of my youth like a heavy cloak. "You look too young to be here," they said, their words a reminder of the life I once knew, now forever altered by this invisible illness. I cried for the entirety of the infusion. Little did I know what lied ahead, I would only find out major allergic reactions, trials, and recovery after that.

It's a journey that has shaped me in ways I never could have imagined, teaching me resilience, courage, and the power of self advocacy and faith.
